Newsletter – July-September 2019
Dear Member, It looks like the weather has finally decided to
brighten up after a very wet June/start of July, I am sure our plants are thriving now with a good combination of the warm sun, we can also make full use of the light evenings to stay on top of our
gardens and flowers.
Now is a good time to perhaps think ahead to our Summer Show coming up on Saturday 17th August with staging, on Friday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm and then on Saturday
morning between 8.00am – 10.45am, please check the schedule there are lots of categories to enter and if you don’t feel confident there are novice classes for people wanting to give it a go, we
welcome every entry, you may not realise we also have children’s classes which encourages them to be involved with the society and is a welcome contribution to the show, if you wish to enter any
exhibits the entry form can found in the schedule or on our website, please ensure your entries are in by Wednesday 14th August, please contact our Show Manager Peter Carman if you need any
assistance T: 01244 379976
Please Note: If you have any cups from last year’s show please can you kindly return them to Peter straight
away so that they can be engraved in time for the Summer show.
